Hub of Hope NZ's next sponsored training course will cover the Fundamentals of Palliative Care with special emphasis on administering Spiritual Support with trainer, Susan Sliedrecht (Counsellor, Life Coach & Supervisor).
This course starts Wednesday, 19 February 2020 for a duration of 6 weeks, from 10 am -12 pm.
This course is ideally suited for those who walk alongside the patient and their family, equipping in the ability to effectively and sensitively minister God’s grace.
Jacki and Tom Davis are organising a Sportz Day at the beach over BBQ and beach games. Bring a meat and salad to share, as well as your own drinks. Feel free to bring friends from outside of Greenlane Christian Centre! It's a great chance for them to connect with our community.
There is prompting for the Church to pray and we want to seek the LORD for His purposes and plans for us and come into His presence so we hear what He has to say to us.
The 24/7 prayer room will run for a week after Touching Heaven worship night. Come and pray for an hour with your ministry group, small group, renew group, and individually. Slots begin on the hour and you can pray as you like to, or engage in new ways of praying using the arts, music or activities.

As part of our 24/7 Prayer Week, we are extending our Corporate Prayer to the evenings of the week, from Monday to Saturday. We would like to encourage all members of our church to come and be part of our corporate prayer, to seek Him and intercede for our church, city, and nation.

An interactive videoconference by Laidlaw right here at Greenlane Christian Centre that will take you through an introduction of the New Testament, you will be part of a discussion group of 6-15 other people with a guided video lecture. Limited to 15 spaces.
Each year our high schoolers head down to Mystery Creek with over 5000 young people. This weekend is one to remember, involving main sessions with worship and speakers, sports comps, talent quest, an 80's dance party, hang time, and much more! We will be travelling by bus on Thursday 9th April (5.30 pm) and returning on Monday 13th.

DINNER WITH THE THOMPSONS & THE JOSHUA FOUNDATION UPDATE

The Thompsons are back! They are hosting an African Pilau dinner here at Greenlane Christian Centre to share about their time away in Tanzania, accompanied by Lynda Stephenson from The Joshua Foundation with some updates on the various projects that have happened or are underway.
Come and join us for an evening of stories, opportunities and fellowship as we hear what God has been doing through The Joshua Foundation and Thompson family over the last year.

As part of our mission at Greenlane Christian Centre to renew people and places in Auckland, we are bringing back CityServe this May 2020! CityServe is a weekend where the Greenlane Christian Centre community partners with and serves alongside our city-wide neighbours to tangibly show compassion and foster the common good in our city.

What does it look like to follow Christ? In this 10 week course, as a believer, participants will follow through RightNow Media's Gospel of Mark Study Guide by Francis Chan and participate in weekly discussions with a small group on Tuesday evenings including dinner.
The Alpha course explores the big questions of life and the Christian faith. We welcome anyone who is curious and seeking to know more about God. It is the perfect space to bring your questions or that friend with all the questions.
