Christmas Drive Thru
- UCG’s – We are
at the Kemps for combined cell this week. Tuesday night. 7pm start, bring
a plate for shared dessert. 16 Corbett Scott Ave, Epsom. See you there!
- Compass
registrations have opened!!! Compass is a seven-day worldview conference
which asks the big questions about how faith and life connect. From
January 10 - 17, 2009, about a hundred young adults from all over New
Zealand will come to Snell's Beach, north of Auckland, to engage in a
weeklong conversation about life, faith, and what it means to be truly
human. They gather together to explore the narrative of the Bible and to
examine the foundations that underpin an extraordinary life. It really is
a phenomenal week. Talk to me if you want more information or check out
the web site www.compass.org.nz. It is expensive but it truly is worthwhile. If money is an
issue for you, PLEASE come a talk to me.
- Feedback...I’m
leaving this message up cause I want you to know that I am always keen to
hear your thoughts. If you have ideas on what you want to see happen this
year in Pulse please come and talk to me.
- We have our final training for Sports camp on Monday night, 7pm in the new youth
building. We will be leaving from the GCC car park
at 5:30pm on Friday. If you haven’t given me your $$$, I need them ASAP.
- Flatmates wanted: Anna and Alyshia are moving out of
their flat…That’s the Greenlane flat opposite Countdown. If you know of
any one or a keen yourself flick me an email. The rent is $130 a week +
expenses.
- It is
true…we do need you!!! If you’re around during the Christmas drive thru
(16th- 21st) and you haven’t signed up or been involved
in a drive thru before this really is a great week in the life of the
church. Get a sign up form, talk to your friends and see where you can come
onboard in helping this event take shape.
Take care,
Michelle
