Life Konnect Cells

Life has half a dozen Konnect Cells which meet weekly for fellowship and fun, following is an overview of some of the Cells.

CONNECT - ENJOY - RELATE – PEOPLE 25+

We have a friendly and welcoming cell group, meeting between the One Tree Hill and Epsom areas. We often start the nights(especially during winter) with a hot cuppa, and chocolate bikki. Before delving into the Bible and exploring a variety of topics, some from regular study material, and some studies developed from scratch, by different members of the cellgroup.

To keep us on our toes, we will also mix up regular study nights with fun and entertaining “quiz nights” or combined study or social nights with other cellgroups every 6-8 weeks. And sometimes have Prayer and Praise nights. We average 7-8 people each Wed night and we are predominantly a group of young professionals, 25+ from a reasonably wide variety of backgrounds, it is a great environment of fellowship, with people in the cellgroup also taking the opportunities to do things together on the weekends and other times as well.
Coming together on a Wednesday night, gives us the opportunity to find out how each others week is going, celebrate successes with each other and join together in prayer, and do 'life' together.
It is also a reminder as to what we are on earth here for…..

Our cell group meets at the same member’s homes for two consecutive weeks. The places we meet at are as follows:

Pakuranga
Onehunga

We begin each meeting by chatting over a drink and a biscuit. We then go through a DVD based bible study and conclude in group prayer. At the beginning of this year we studied the First Thousand Years of Christianity. Currently we’re studying “The Life you’ve always wanted” by John T Ortberg. Normally we study something that is about six weeks long. Once we complete our study we celebrate it by having a social evening. Our cell group consists of single people, married couples and couples who are dating. Our age ranges from 25 years to 35ish.

We are part of a welcoming and friendly home-group of professional guys and girls in the 30+ age group. We meet on Wednesday evenings at 7.30pm on a weekly basis alternating between Mt Albert and One Tree Hill areas.

Join us for fellowship over a cuppa before we begin each week's study. We open the evening in prayer and close the evening bringing our prayer points/needs before God. Our interactive Bible studies with opportunity for discussion, will include books/characters from the Bible as well as topical studies relating to issues relevant to us. One of our key verses for this group is taken from Hebrews 10:24-25 "And let us spur one another on toward love and good deeds...let us encourage one another". Prayer and praise evenings will be included in our group calendar. We also have opportunities for fellowship with fun social activities on a monthly basis. As a group we really want to encourage one another to connect with God, grow in our faith as we journey together in our service for Him.
